About This Ghat
Vishnupad Ghat (विष्णुपद घाट) is located on the banks of the Falgu River in Gaya, adjacent to the famous Vishnupad Temple. This is THE most important place for Pind Daan in all of Hinduism. According to Hindu mythology, this is where Lord Vishnu placed his foot, leaving an impression that is worshipped at the temple.
