About This Ghat
Triveni Sangam (त्रिवेणी संगम) is the sacred confluence of three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. This is one of the holiest places in Hinduism and a major destination for Asthi Visarjan and Pind Daan. Taking a dip at the Sangam during Kumbh Mela is believed to cleanse all sins.
