Brahma Sarovar

Brahma Sarovar is a sacred tank in Kurukshetra, believed to have been created
by Lord Brahma. During solar eclipses, the sarovar attracts millions of pilgrims who believe
that bathing here during the eclipse brings great merit.

The tank is also a significant site for performing Shraddh and tarpan, especially during
Somavati Amavasya and solar eclipses.

According to the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna delivered the Bhagavad Gita to
Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. The Brahma Sarovar is believed to be the place where
Lord Brahma performed a yajna that led to the creation of the universe.
