About Gomukh Ghat, Dwarka

Gomukh Ghat is a sacred bathing spot in Dwarka where the Gomti River meets the
Arabian Sea. The ghat has a spring shaped like a cow's mouth (Gomukh), from which sacred water flows.
Pilgrims come here to bathe and perform ancestral rites.

Religious Significance

Dwarka is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and the legendary kingdom of
Lord Krishna. Bathing at Gomukh Ghat before visiting the Dwarkadhish Temple is considered mandatory
for pilgrims. The ghat is also significant for performing Shraddh.
