About Kurukshetra - Brahma Sarovar

Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra is one of the most sacred water bodies in Hindu tradition. According to mythology, Lord Brahma performed a grand yajna here at the beginning of creation.

The site is especially significant during solar eclipses when bathing here is believed to wash away all sins. It's also important for Shraddh and Tarpan ceremonies.
