About Pehowa - Saraswati Ghat

Pehowa is an ancient pilgrimage site on the banks of the sacred Saraswati River. According to the Mahabharata, the Pandavas performed Pind Daan here for the warriors killed in the Kurukshetra war.

Pehowa is especially significant because rituals performed here are believed to be equivalent to those at Gaya. It's a preferred site for many families from North India for ancestral ceremonies.
