About Trimbakeshwar Temple

Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is famous for Narayan Nagbali and Kaal Sarp Puja. This is one of the few places where Narayan Nagbali (a special ritual for untimely or unnatural deaths) can be performed.

The temple is located at the source of the Godavari River and is considered extremely powerful for ancestral rites, especially for those who died under unusual circumstances.
